COME Download Page Not Opening: Browser and Network Checks

Match the exact symptom to the right check, change one condition at a time and avoid turning a page-loading issue into several failed downloads.

Identify the symptom before changing settings

If the COME download page is not opening, first note what the browser shows: a blank screen, timeout, redirect loop, certificate warning or a page where the download button does nothing. Each symptom points to a different check.

Change one condition at a time. Then retry the current COME page. Once it opens, continue with our COME APK download guide.

If the APK is already complete and Android says it cannot parse or install the package, the page has done its job. Continue with the existing COME APK installation troubleshooting guide.

Retry the current COME route only once

Close the failed tab and open the current COME route again. Tap once and let redirects finish. If it opens, the old tab or session was probably stale.

If it fails again, keep the exact browser message. “Timed out”, “certificate invalid”, “too many redirects” and “download blocked” should not be treated as the same error.

Check the phone's basic network path

Use the same browser to open another familiar HTTPS website:

  • If other sites also fail, check Wi-Fi, mobile data, Airplane mode or the public-network sign-in page.
  • If only the COME route fails, continue with browser, DNS, WebView and final-address checks.
  • If mobile data works but Wi-Fi fails, the router, public network or DNS path may be involved.
  • If Wi-Fi works but mobile data fails, check browser data permission, the carrier network and data limits.

A public Wi-Fi hotspot may need a sign-in page before normal browsing works. Complete that step before opening the download route. Avoid downloading an APK over an untrusted public network.

Switch networks once, not repeatedly

Move from Wi-Fi to mobile data, or from mobile data to trusted Wi-Fi. Keep the new connection stable for 30–60 seconds and test once. Do not switch networks during an APK download; an interrupted transfer can leave a file that looks complete but cannot be parsed.

Check automatic date and time

Settings → System → Date and time → Set time automatically

An incorrect device clock can break HTTPS and human-verification flows. If the browser shows a certificate warning, do not choose “continue anyway”. Fix the clock and network first.

COME download page not opening during Android browser and network checks
The COME Android experience loads remote content, so browser, WebView and network health all affect page access.

Check the browser, cookies and Android System WebView

Try one Incognito tab

A redirect loop or stale session can be isolated with an Incognito tab. Open the current route once in that tab. If it works there, site cookies or cached session data may be involved.

Clear data for the affected site only before wiping all browser history, saved passwords or downloads. Menu names vary, but Chrome commonly uses Settings → Site settings → All sites → Site → Clear & reset.

Update Chrome and Android System WebView

The reviewed COME APK loads major content through WebView. An outdated Chrome or Android System WebView can cause blank pages or script failures.

  1. Open Google Play and check Chrome for updates.
  2. Check Android System WebView if your device lists it separately.
  3. Restart the browser and test the page once.
  4. Do not download a “WebView fix APK” from an unknown website.

When the page loads again, confirm the COME app identity before continuing to a download.

Check JavaScript, cookies and download prompts

If part of the page loads but the button does not respond, confirm that JavaScript can run and look for a blocked-download or blocked-pop-up notice. Do not permanently allow everything for every site. Handle only the prompt connected to the current action.

Test VPN, Private DNS and content filters one at a time

A VPN, proxy, ad blocker, content filter or custom Private DNS can block a redirect domain, script or download request. If you use one, record the current setting, pause one component, test once, then restore it before testing the next.

This sequence prevents you from losing track of which setting changed the result. Restore your privacy and network settings when the test is complete.

Check data saver and background restrictions

Some Android phones restrict the browser or download manager when Data Saver or aggressive battery control is active. If the page works in the foreground but the download stops when you switch apps, check:

  • mobile-data permission for the browser;
  • whether Download Manager is enabled;
  • Data Saver access for the current browser;
  • battery optimisation that may stop the transfer.

Adjust only the affected app. Do not disable global battery or data controls permanently.

If the page opens but Download does nothing

  1. Wait for the page to finish loading.
  2. Tap the download action once.
  3. Look for a browser prompt, notification or blocked-download icon.
  4. Check Downloads before tapping again.
  5. Confirm the browser or download manager can save files.

If a file starts but stops, remove that incomplete copy, free storage and retry once on a stable network. After a complete download, verify the file with the COME APK file-detail guide.

Record useful information if the page still fails

  • Android phone brand, model and version;
  • browser name and version;
  • time and time zone;
  • Wi-Fi or mobile-data connection;
  • the complete browser error;
  • the final domain without account or sensitive parameters;
  • whether a VPN, Private DNS or content filter was active.

Hide phone numbers, account details, balances and transaction data in screenshots. Never send an OTP, UPI PIN, card PIN, CVV or full password.

After one meaningful change, retry the current COME page.

Frequently asked questions

Should I clear cache or change network first?

First check whether other sites open, then switch network once. Use an Incognito tab before clearing site-specific data.

Can I ignore a browser certificate warning?

No. Check automatic date and time, the network and the final domain. Do not bypass an HTTPS warning.

What if the page opens but Download does nothing?

Wait for a complete load, tap once, check blocked-download notices, notifications and the Downloads folder.

Chrome works but the app page is blank. What should I do?

Update Chrome and Android System WebView, keep one stable network and retry. Record the device and version if it continues.
